BLOOD PIT BACK TAG ENTRY

Administrative Support of Harvest (Kill floor) management in Souderton, Pennsylvania

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels
• Ability to identify cattle according to category type and sex
• Control indexes on the blood pit
• Ability to accurately report start times and break times to department
• Verify cattle pen count to accurately represent what is being reported
• Following approved Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring internal controls are strictly complied with;
• Accurate data entry, reporting and update
• Other projects and duties as assigned
• Verify ear tags and sequence number

Requirements:

• Bilingual preferred
• Ability to work in an environment with strong smells, blood, and hot temperatures
• High level of critical thinking, logical thinking and analysis and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons or facts;
• Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team;
• Perform well under pressure
• Attention to detail in all areas of work;
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends
• Experience in manufacturing or food processing environment preferred
• Administrative support experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
