Job Summary:

Moberly Motors is seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Ideal candidates will have experience in general automotive repair, strong diagnostic abilities, and a desire to grow in a dealership environment. Ford or Chrysler certification is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, benefits, and career advancement opportunities in a clean, modern shop setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general automotive repairs including brakes, engine diagnostics, suspension, electrical systems, and more

• Conduct routine maintenance services: oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery replacement

• Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and software

• Ensure all repairs and services are completed to manufacturer standards

• Work closely with service advisors to communicate vehicle issues and repair plans

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols

• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and dealership training programs

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic (preferred)

• Ford or Chrysler certification (preferred but not required)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and scan equipment

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills

• Must own basic automotive tools

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or ASE certifications a plus
