The Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a passionate and experienced Tourism Specialist to promote tourism and visitor engagement in the Moberly area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract visitors, promote local attractions, and enhance the overall tourism experience in the community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive tourism marketing plan to drive visitor traffic to Moberly and local attractions.
• Collaborate with local businesses, attractions, and community partners to create promotional campaigns and events.
• Manage social media platforms and website content to showcase the unique offerings of Moberly and attract potential tourists.
• Provide tourist information and support services to visitors, including itinerary planning and assistance with accommodations.
• Analyze tourism data and trends to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tourism marketing, destination management, or related roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local attractions, events, and tourism industry trends.
• Proficiency in social media marketing and content creation.
