Job Description

We are looking for individuals to assist in finishing door slabs to prepare them for painting. Candidates will work Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., No weekends!

JOB DUTIES:

  • Sanding and fixing imperfections of product to get the best paint finish.

  • Maintain the shop and paint equipment to ensure they stay in good condition.

  • Prepare the product going to the painter.

  • Paint and stain the product.

  • Monitor the work load and work orders for the day.

  • Ensure the paint is ordered in a timely manner.

  • Observe all safety rules: (i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.).

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to read and write so that written instructions can be easily followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled.

  • Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

  • Must be able to pass our forklift operators' assessment after a normal training procedure.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Need to pay very close attention to detail.

  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to operate automated production line machinery.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in millwork and finish work is a plus. Spray equipment and knowledge of painting in a production line environment is preferred
