OverviewWarehouse Auto Body & Paint Technicians service, refurbish, and repair trucks, tanks and equipment. The primary responsibility is performing paint and body work on equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities Refurbish company truck tanks and service beds for installation on chassisPrepare trucks, tanks and equipment for painting by sanding, sand blasting, body filling and primingPerform body and paint work on vehicles, tanks, and service bedsBuff and polish aluminum tanks and decksRemove and install decalsClean, service and maintain company equipment as assigned Develop and maintain current knowledge of products and services offered by company Operate safely at all times, according to company safety proceduresCommunicate any issues as they relate to safety or efficiencies to supervisor for both trucks and equipmentMaintain inventory of parts and equipment related to job dutiesTechnicians who meet DOT requirements may deliver vehicles to MFA Oil locations as needed All MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures. While this job description contains the primary duties of the position, employees may be expected to perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalentExperience with and ability to use a wide range of automotive repair tools18 years of age or olderBasic mathematical skills Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials Ability to perform detailed work with accuracy and critically assess vehicle damage and repair costRequires physical strength and dexterity to walk, stand, bend, climb, reach, stoop, twist and lift/carry 100 poundsVision, hearing, speech, and the ability to detect odors Ability to consistently drive and work in outdoor weather conditions Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materialsAbility and willingness to work scheduled overtimeValid driver’s license Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisorsAbility to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, MVR check and criminal background checkLegal authorization to work in the United States Preferred Skills Prior experience or training in truck maintenance and body work Ability and willingness to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements and maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements per the vehicle requirements Ability to pass in person training and MFA Oil Company Record of Road test requiring operation of both manual and automatic transmission vehiclesAbility to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles in a variety of weather and road conditions PEP/CTEP certificationAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to meet deadlines with a high degree of time management skillsAbility to work under timelines and pressureAbility to work both independently and in a team environment Ability to work well with othersAbility to work at a fast paceAbility to set priorities and goals and develop plans for achieving them
