Join Our Team as a Maintenance Worker at the Glasgow Housing Authority!
The Housing Authority is seeking a dedicated Maintenance person to join our team. This part-time position requires someone who is knowledgeable in basic carpentry skills, experienced in plumbing and electrical work, and capable of handling various maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities include: Performing carpentry repairs and installations as needed. Conducting plumbing and electrical, HVAC repairs and troubleshooting. Responsible for snow removal during winter months to ensure safety and accessibility. Mowing and maintaining the grounds to keep them tidy and visually appealing. Assisting with painting and repairs of apartments to maintain a fresh and welcoming environment. Conducting cleaning tasks to ensure apartments are well-maintained and ready for new occupants.
This position offers 12-18 hours per week, with the possibility of some on-call hours. It is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our community and contribute to the well-being of our residents.
Requirements: Ability to handle maintenance tasks independently Strong attention to detail and time management skills, and reliable work ethic Valid Drivers license, pass a background check Flexibility for on-call duties when required
