Job description:

Everlast Fitness Mfg. Corp. is currently hiring an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator. Everlast produces high end outfits, robes and trunks for sponsored boxers and MMA fighters along with shells for heavy bag production and some presentation/display type boxing gloves.

Essential Functions:

· Use of Single and double needle sewing machines, Surger machine, waistband and bartack machines.

· Set up machine with proper thread, tension setting and programmable operation settings as applicable.

· Read and interpret work orders.

· Marks and cuts fabrics with garment patterns.

· Irons fabrics to help with the sewing and embroidery process.

· Ability to use hands and arms in a repetitive motion for the duration of the shift, including repeated bending, stretching, twisting and sitting for long periods of time.

· Duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· Industrial sewing machine experience preferred.

· Willing to train highly motivated individuals.

· Must be 18 years old.

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Hours:

Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
