EquipmentShare is searching for a Production Associate for the industrial and upfitting center in Moberly, MO., to support the production and assembly tasks within the attachment work area.
EquipmentShare is seeking a Production Associate responsible for performing routine and repetitive production and assembly tasks, supplying correct raw material to assigned work processes using an ERP system. The Production Worker will also assemble products as required for shipment to customers, monitor processes and carry out basic quality checks to ensure the product meets specification. Additionally, they will perform basic janitorial and inspection duties during each shift to ensure a quality product is being produced in a clean safe work environment.
What You’ll Do as a Production Associate
- Follow EquipmentShare’s health, safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
- Follow production guidelines and specifications
- Assemble products and parts using various production methods and equipment
- Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment
- Work on the production line to meet production schedules
- Report any safety or quality issues to the supervisor on duty
- Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
- Review and follow manufacturing manuals to build machinery
- Transfer equipment manually or with forklift trucks
- Assemble and prepare goods for shipment
- Read and understand engineering drawings
- Use measuring tools to inspect parts (calipers, micrometers, radius gauges, etc.)
- Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products
- Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses
- Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process
- Utilize machinery such as forklifts to load orders
- Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations

Skills & Qualifications of a Production Associate
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-4 yrs experience in manufacturing or warehousing
- Physical ability to complete job duties, which may include standing for long periods, working in a space that lacks climate control or lifting objects with an established maximum weight
- Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good teamwork skills
- Time management skills
- Good technical and mechanical skills
- Previous experience as a production worker or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of how production equipment works
- Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
- Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)
- Able to juggle many different tasks/responsibilities with ease
