High Lift Loader Operator

Responsibilities
- Operate high lift loaders to load trucks, hoppers, conveyors, or stockpiles with aggregate, asphalt, or other materials
- Perform daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation
- Maintain safe operating practices around ground personnel, truck drivers, and other equipment
- Monitor material quality, quantities, and placement to meet production and project needs
- Communicate effectively with plant operators, supervisors, and truck drivers
- Perform basic preventative maintenance such as greasing, fueling, and cleaning equipment
- Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions immediately
- Assist with general site duties as needed to support operations
- Maintain compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and MSHA standards (if applicable)
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a high lift loader or similar heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and job site awareness
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in heavy highway, asphalt, aggregate, or plant operations
- MSHA certification
- CDL (Class A or B)
- Mechanical aptitude and experience performing minor equipment repairs
