Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team and manage our payroll programs.
- Process weekly payroll for a mix of hourly, salaried, and prevailing wage employees.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in line with state and federal guidelines.
- Help ensure compliance with wage laws and company policies.
- Review employee hours, pay rates, job classifications, and fringe benefits for accuracy.
- Handle employment verifications and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist with processing garnishments, child support orders, and reimbursements.
- Track and apply job-specific wage rates and classifications.
- Stay informed about payroll regulations and industry updates.
- Support employees with payroll-related questions.
- Some experience in payroll, preferably in construction or a related field.
- Familiarity with prevailing wage laws and certified payroll reporting is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right candidate.
- Experience with employment verifications, garnishments, and reimbursements is helpful.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel; experience with payroll/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to stay organized while juggling multiple tasks.
