Chariton Valley Communications Corporation is looking for a full-time Customer Support Specialist to join our team. Following our mission, Keeping You Connected, Chariton Valley has provided state-of-the-art communication solutions to businesses and residents in Northeast Missouri for 70 years.
The Customer Support Specialist is accountable for providing first class service to our customers and future customers. This individual will be a service champion which entails being an expert in answering calls, placing outbound calls, contacting potential customers, participating in calling campaigns, processing sales orders, customer follow up, selling products and services, meeting monthly sales goals, performing chat sessions, scheduling installations, resolving customer-billing issues, and entering trouble tickets. They will ensure the customer needs and expectations are addressed promptly and provide the highest level of customer service. The working schedule may vary, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
The Customer Support Specialist must have an upbeat attitude and a desire to help our patrons. They must possess a thorough knowledge of Chariton Valley products, sales processes, the customers’ bill format, and all charges and fees associated with services or items. The Customer Support Specialist must provide engaging, responsive, and helpful phone-based customer service. They must have effective listening and troubleshooting skills to rule out certain measures to find solutions. The Customer Support Specialist must gain a working knowledge of the sales process, billing system, and how orders are processed as well as other systems, and must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and complete tasks and job assignments expeditiously and on time.
