Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual to fill a Department Lead position. The individual will oversee the Sporting Goods department. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be a productive team member.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Retail and supervisory experience preferred
• Product knowledge - sporting goods to include new firearms and ammunition sales
• Able to multi-task
• Computer skills
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail/organizational skills
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis with bending and squatting
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Freight handling/forklift operation/merchandising the sales floor
• Sales/Stocking/Recovery
• Cashier/Cash handling
• Ensure the Sporting Goods department is clean and organized
• Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
• Handling phone calls

Starting wage is $15.00 per hour
