As a Load Out Associate at Bomgaars, you play a key role in delivering a strong customer experience by safely and efficiently loading customer vehicles with purchased merchandise. You support the store team by keeping operations running smoothly, assisting customers, and helping maintain a clean, organized store environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older - High school diploma or GED preferred
• Retail, customer service, warehouse, or load-out experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise (up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to complete certification
• Product knowledge
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Committed to safety and following proper procedures
• Someone who takes pride in hard work and helping others
• A team player who is dependable and willing to jump in where needed
• Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for work weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Safely and efficiently load customer purchases into vehicles
• Assist with carry-outs and ensure merchandise is handled properly
• Stock shelves and support merchandising efforts on the sales floor
• Help maintain a clean, organized store through routine upkeep
• Assist with freight movement, inventory, and recovery
• Operate equipment such as forklifts safely, as needed
• Support store operations, including occasional register use or opening/closing tasks depending on store needs

This role is often the final interaction a customer has before leaving the store. How you show up matters. Your focus on safety, efficiency, and service helps ensure customers leave with a positive experience and confidence in choosing Bomgaars.
