Bomgaars is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual with Cashier and retail experience to work evening and weekend schedules. This position also offers an opportunity to work in Clothing and Consumables while providing excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cashier and retail experience preferred
• Retail clothing and consumables knowledge helpful
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail oriented
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be available to work evening and weekend schedules (shift premium paid for working weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and welcome customers
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit cards, debit cards, and checks)
• Scan and bag items for customers
• Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
• Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption
• Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
• Clothing and consumable departments sales, stocking, and recovery
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
• Ensure the Clothing and consumable departments are clean, organized, and well stocked
• Handling phone calls

Wage: $14.50 per hour
