In preparing for the new Bomgaars store opening, we are seeking motivated, customer service oriented individuals to work peak gardening seasons in the Garden Center. Position requires flexibility in shifts for watering sessions - days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Agriculture background
• Product knowledge - plants, shrubs, and vegetables
• Willing to work outside for extended time periods
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be able to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Freight handling/Merchandising indoors and outdoors/Signage with plant information
• Maintain the nursery area (varying weather conditions)
• Basic gardening tasks (watering, weeding, fertilizing, and repotting as needed)
• Stocking with new plants/rotating inventory/checking for damaged or unhealthy plants
• Handling phone calls
• Assisting customer with product selection and load outs

*Pre-employment drug screen required

Wage is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour
