Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, customer service oriented individual to work peak gardening seasons in the Nursery department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Agriculture background helpful
• Product knowledge - plants, shrubs, and vegetables
• Willing to work outside for extended time periods
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (shift premium paid for working weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Freight handling/Merchandising indoors and outdoors/Signage with plant information
• Maintain the garden center (varying weather conditions)
• Basic gardening tasks (watering, weeding, fertilizing, and repotting as needed)
• Stocking with new plants/rotating inventory/checking for damaged or unhealthy plants
• Light assembly and stocking of other merchandise as needed
• Handling phone calls
• Assisting customer with product selection and load outs

*Pre-employment screen required

Wage is $14.00 per hour
