Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with lumber yard operation and sales experience to join the Building Center Team. Position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in operating freight handling equipment
• Working in a fast-paced, full-paced, full scale lumber yard experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be available to work flexible schedules - days and occasional weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Freight handling/loading and unloading lumber using appropriate equipment
• Delivery of materials to job sites
• Adhere to all Safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
• Ensure lumber is well stocked and organized
• Assist customers with product selection and load outs
• Handling phone calls

Hourly wage is based on experience
