Bomgaars is seeking friendly, outgoing individuals with Cashier experience. Cashier positions offer an opportunity to be a productive team member while providing excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cashier experience preferred

• Product knowledge

• Ability to multi-task

• Detail Oriented

• Clear and concise communication skills

• Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis and stand for long periods

• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

• Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and welcome customers

• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit/debit card, checks)

• Scan, bag items and issue receipts for customers

• Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy

• Promote store loyalty programs, special promotions/coupon redemption

• Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift

• Handling phone calls

• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area

Starting Wage is $13.00 to $13.50 per hour
