As the Human Resources Business Partner at the Thomas Hill Energy Center, you will provide practical, day-to-day HR support to leaders and employees. This role focuses on delivering reliable guidance, coordinating key workforce activities, and ensuring consistent application of policies and processes, while contributing to a positive, people-focused culture.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with plant leaders on workforce planning, staffing, compliance, performance management, and employee & labor relations; anticipate HR needs and provide timely, practical direction to implement solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to employees, leaders, and HR colleagues by building strong working relationships and delivering clear, consistent guidance.
  • Support workforce needs by sourcing talent, coordinating selection activities, and managing onboarding to build a strong, reliable pipeline of future employees.
  • Interpret and apply the Collective Bargaining Agreement and provide guidance on contract questions; contribute to labor relations and collective bargaining strategies.
  • Lead HR projects that address operational needs and/or strengthen processes; work collaboratively to ensure successful execution of initiatives while keeping tasks organized, documentation up to date, and deadlines on track.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of HR work experience; professional HR certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience handling employee relations and performance management matters, with a strong grasp of HR principles and employment law.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HCM experience preferred (Workday a plus).
  • Strong judgment, communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
